Position 14: UTC -2  07 09.164S 030 01.071W

We lost the battle of the gybe and did it at 15:30. We are now heading straight for Atol des Rocas (Doc’s rock). Otherwise not much happening. Making water and keeping the starboard tank topped up.

Supper Tuna chacaluka and smash followed by pub and fruit.

Almost another quiet day, but we did have some excitement when a tanker loomed up behind us on a collision course (AIS thought so) When we got their name and we called on VHF they responded and thankfully altered course to 2.5nm behind us. Another general cargo vessel passed some 5nm ahead of going to the north east. A really exciting day.

Supper Stew and smash followed by fruit and custard.

Hope to be in Fortaleza by Friday.
