Managed to sail from 03:45 until 13:30 when frustration necessitated engine on once more. Fortunately we are in a good current – at last – so though we are motoring at 4+knots we are doing 6+ COG. Looking good for an evening arrival in Fortaleza tomorrow.
Had some fun watching dolphins playing at the bows. Very different from the ones back home – light grey with a narrower beak. Also I think we had a whale dive under the boat – a small one only about 7m. Black with a dorsal fin like a hump back, but looked more like a over sized dolphin.
Supper left overs followed by fruit and custard.
Looking forward to showers and getting really clean.
